britney and kevin federline, a few months ago. um. i have to say, she actually looks good in this photo. and it's not just because she's standing next to the biggest Man Fashion disaster of all time. the shoes! why would ANYONE voluntarily make their feet look like they're in casts?! and the manpris, omg. there are no words. anyyywayy. this is one of the very few pictures in recent history where britney has displayed sartorial sense. the catherine malandrino top is very pretty - it's the same one lorelai was wearing in the GG season 5 premiere - and it works well with the dark jeans. the silver bag that would've been tacky with most other outfits works pretty well in this one because the rest of the colours are muted enough. her hair looks washed, great dangly earrings, and the flip-flops are a cute touch. the only problem is the Bitbit. such an ugly dog. (btw, she had her baby yesterday so BitBit's got a new little brother, and Kevin's about to start a fashion line. i think the latter development is a lot more appalling; he wants to do a "rock and roll take on cool dress-up clothes" like shirts and pants. i shudder to imagine what that means.) i hope Britney doesn't carry her son around in a balenciaga handbag, as a Bitbit number 2 sort of "cool" thing.
