alias premiere. um.

ok the rest of this will be in white in case any anti-spoiler alias people stumble on this. using michael's simple method and not the html worm kindly provided because i am totally html-phobic.

so. ugh. i need to say something. let's see. firstly, it was amusing watching jen garner trying to hide her bump because it's pretty huge. and you can tell in her skimpy dress that her boobs are way bigger than they used to be. ok it's not just me and my boobs fetish, it's just very obvious that she's not as skinny as she used to be. and the bit at the beginning where she was running from the car? she was wearing very maternity-ish keds and you could see the bump if you watched closely enough. and the body double has a really horrible wig. it's far redder than jen garner's real hair, and it was terribly straggly. the things i notice.

and oh in the skimpy dress scene she was carrying this pashmina or similar shawl thingy on her arm, the arm facing the camera, and it was draped on her arm so that it precisely hid her stomach. except the shawl was bright pink and really very conspicuous so that was amusing. i guess the costume people know that we know she's pregnant so they're just going far enough with the concealing and allowing the audience a fun little mix of suspension of disbelief and humour. anyway by the end of the ep it skips 4 months so i presume next ep we'll be seeing the bump properly.

i have a Problem with sydney losing two fiances. i mean, does she have an engagement curse or something? or is vaughn not really dead. i don't know. it was pretty painful though, the death scene, a little predictable but maybe that's only because i knew he was supposed to die but then it was an open secret that he was going to die anyway. but all the same it was quite shocking to actually see it. i have very mixed feelings about his death. it opens up a lot of possibilities, but it's a little blatantly sydney-is-not-allowed-to-be-happy, it's sad but vaughn was getting a little annoying.

and the convoluted vaughn storyline... also mixed feelings, because the alias writing team have a problem with details so if they don't work their collective ass off to make sure this turns out plausible it will most certainly sink. for me at least, being the consummate nitpicker. i even noticed that when sydney conveyed a string of numbers to dixon he didn't type them in correctly on the laptop. he missed out a 1. and of course i was totally nitpicking the bump-concealing tactics etc. but if they get the details right and don't leave too many plotholes then it could work out very interestingly. i hopehopehope.

ok spoilers over. my day has been spent watching a Lot of tv. oc 302, and it was good but i'm not going to download anymore because it takes far too long so drop me a line if you'd like to provide me OC. lost 109 and half of 110 on axn. alias. oh and about a half hour of ellen degeneres in school.

school is sucking most horrifically. i need to start studying again!!!!!
