i might've put a picture of this up before; can't remember. it's quite old, donna karan's collection a couple of months ago. it's really pretty, although it would be rather hard to wear with the corset details and the humongous sleeves. i was kinda going on about victorian influences last night when i showed this picture to kelly, and i think that's because of the corset bodice and the general silhouette, but the sleeves aren't victorian. victorian is more of the leg of mutton sleeves. which i think is a very bad name for a sleeve by the way. but that type of sleeve is very ugly anyway. these sleeves look very shakespearean. atleast they're like the sleeves on joseph fiennes' shirts in shakespeare in love, except more feminine. anyway, it's just very romantic.
