I finally finished reading Norwegian Wood earlier today. An incredibly incredibly depressing book. I shall not read anymore Murakami for a while. Hmm. The ugly colourfuly Louis Vuittons are called Murakami bags.
And I want to read White Oleander, which depressed Shoojee for a week. Ah well. I also haven't bathed, and haven't done any work, and have heard of an extremely nauseatingly awful rumour involving myself, and I have to go to Fine Arts in an hour.
The ACJC production was really really good stuff. Acting wasn't completely fantastic but for Puck, and the way they completely used Shakespeare's words made it a little draggy, but as a whole production it was really well done. I loved the dances and the costumes!
And I finally watched Big Fish yesterday.. it was still running at Cine! I didn't completely understand it at first, but I liked it. And then my theory about the fish symbolism was proved correct by Andi, so Daph and I figured out what it all meant, and Shirin (who'd watched the movie ages ago) was all enlightened, whereas until then she'd just thought it was a story about a man and his father. Slow.
And I acquired a nice pair of earrings from the kiosk at Cine. I shall make it my new favourite place-to-buy-earrings. And I tried a lot of skirts at Topshop. Have finally decided that I want to wear a skirt and should stop just wearing trousers or jeans or shorts all the time, so I'm going to go shopping for a nice skirt.
I also want the denim halter at Topshop, only the cut is really sort of weird because it fits just nicely around the midriff and is really huge around the neck, so basically unless I alter the halter bit so it can be worn higher, there'll be way too much cleavage, which is the one type of too-much-skin that is really not good in Singapore.. But it looked really nice when I wore it slightly higher with the halter hanging sort of loose behind my neck, so maybe I'll buy it and have it altered.

I have wasted away my morning, or what was left of it after I woke up at 1130. Got 11.5 hours of sleep - quite an achievement. Although it was a bit of a strange sleep, because I fell asleep with music on, and woke up at 230 and switched it off, and then around the morning I kept waking up and going back to sleep. I think the lack of sleep over the past couple of weeks has gotten my body used to less sleep, so it's hard for me to sleep well at one long stretch. How awful.
Shall go and shower now.
