pw shite.
spent the morning trying to figure out people to interview for pw. emailed the head of sociology at ntu, who promptly responded that he'd been swamped by such requests and wasn't an expert in the field, therefore no. i then replied asking if he could do us a favour and recommend other names who might be of help. i hope he replies soon.

and i emailed liu thai ker. but i just realised that i made a real booboo. i referred to his designation as chairman of NAC, rather than chairman of the censorship review committee, which would've been more important. sigh now he's gonna think we didn't do our homework. worst part is that when i spoke to dawn she mentioned that he was the chairman of the censorship review, and i completely forgot that part until just now.

oh nooooooo this is so screwed. i shall also email sumiko tan and tan tarn how. i hope we can get SOMETHING. i hope the jenny leong guy thing is working out... and i shall go find out perhaps if i can get the sociology dept at NUS or something. hmm. who else.

have found some good information on the internet, though, to plump up the literature section. damnit we've really done nothing. tomorrow woodlands library to ransack ST archives, and my mother will get some people to fill up surveys at the dinner she's going to. my dad being my dad hasn't bothered yet with the surveys i gave him. i shall have to bug him about that.

besides that, a thoroughly uneventful day. am reading angels and demons and it's, as with much of dan brown, factually fascinating but sucky writing style. and it's terribly similar to the da vinci code, except that the villains and the murdered have different names. and one was art and religion, the other is physics and religion. hmm. a little exercise in spot the difference.

i shall go read angels and demons for a while and then attempt to finish history essay, followed by pondering how best to hand in the essay. maybe i'll just send a mail with nothing except for the attachment.

oh just realised that jurong regional library is much more conveniently located. and it's newer and bigger than woodlands. yay. and it's got microfilm newspapers from 1845, whereas woodlands only has from 1980 or something.
