-loving- the OC soundtrack. everyone should go listen to 'dice' by finley quaye and william orbit. it's the song from the scene when ryan runs to the hilton penthouse to tell marissa that he loves her before midnight on new year's. lovely scene. but that's not the point. the song's really something.
just finished watching 'hum tum' - hindi film starring mah man saif ali. he is SO hot. lovelovelove him. and he's really funny in a nice non-hindi/slapstick way. which is the kind of goofy humour i like in a guy. i liked this movie quite a lot. compared to most other hindi movies, it's really good. less of the usual hackneyed love nonsense, despite being a love story. it's the kind of love story i like: they were friends first, and it took them 9 years to fall in love, unlike the usual love at first sight rubbish. besides that there was the typical bollywood grandiose music and visuals and stuff, but that's the style, man. it's what bollywood is, which is cool anyway. it's special. indians are weird grandiose people anyway. haha. so i wax eloquent about bollywood. anyway it was good. and rani mukherji was really gorgeous, and her clothes in france were beautiful.
bored. my parents and brother aren't home yet. on their way back i think. i can't be bothered to do any work as usual. will finish reading the chocolate war. tonight i will watch fahrenheit. too many movies, i suspect.
oh there's a movie marathon at gv at the end of august! i'm contemplating it, although i doubt my parents will approve. and it's 100 bucks, and it's got a korean horror film so i'll need someone to go with me. actually i wouldn't have gone alone anyway because i don't believe in going for films alone. so loseristic, or rather, it's something for people to do when they're bored or sorrowful or have no friends. i always imagine going for a movie alone as something like what jewel sings in 'you were meant for me' - something like "saw a movie it wasn't the same, cos it was happy and i was sad and i missed you oh so bad". well, going for a movie alone has the same rainy image in my mind as that line does. just like the word divide makes me think of mountains, because in 'it's a small world' there's sometihng like 'mountains divide and the oceans are wide it's a small world after all.' and there's some word that used to make me think of green beans, can't remember what it is. anyway, i shall think more about the movie marathon.
yay! they're home. bye now.
